Greetings Broadmoor UMC, Shreveport Family and Friends,

Out of an abundance of caution and care we have decided to cancel all services and activities at Broadmoor UMC, Shreveport this weekend (January 24-25, 2026) due in impending inclement weather. We invite you to be in communication with your neighbors and community members particularly the most vulnerable and find ways to help and encourage one another during this time. Be the hands and feet of Christ!

As we are not having public worship this Sunday, please have intentional time of devotion and reflection during the journey in which we find ourselves. Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful, because I come to you for safety. In the shadow of your wings, I find protection until the raging storms are over. I call to God, the Most High, to God, who supplies my every need. (Psalm 57:1-2 Good News Translation)

 As is our weekday closure policy, we will follow the local school closure schedule.
