At the beginning of 2015, the outstanding balance of the church indebtedness was $3.45 Million and that didn’t include the interest. It was simply unimaginable that this amount of money could be paid off in any acceptable length of time. But the BOLD Faithful Campaign began in May.

When the balance dropped below a million, the optimism began to build momentum. People had already been giving faithfully and boldly but now there was an end in sight. Even with COVID damping down everything, the chatter was a little more prominent, “When the debt is paid, we need to have party!”

There will be some really delicious food at a sit-down meal, and you are invited to bring your best dessert to share. There will be jazz music with our wonderful organist/pianist Dan Ley and great fellowship in Anderson Hall.

You can also register on the Connect Card in worship on Sunday. God has richly blessed the congregation of Broadmoor United Methodist. Let’s gather in a special way to rejoice and give thanks and praise for God’s guidance and generosity in accomplishing this great holy task.
