United Methodist Women

UMW is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; who support one another in fellowship and who learn about missions through working together in the ministries of the church. Along the way they have a lot of fun, meet new friends, and may even find a new purpose in life!

UMW Circle Groups:

WOMEN OF FAITH | Meets at the church the third Tuesday of the month.  Emphasis is on programs dealing with social issues.

GRACE COOKE | Meets at the church the third Monday evening. Emphasis is on a mix of programs and projects benefiting local, state and global missions.

EVENING | Meets in members’ homes the third Thursday evening. Emphasis is on projects benefiting church ministries.

SOUL SISTERS | Meets at the church the first Sunday evening. Emphasis is on fellowship and becoming the hands and feet of Christ. 

Note:  Women of all ages are welcome to join any Circle.   

Spiritual Growth

Broadmoor hosts several Women's Retreats throughout the year on various topics, both spiritual and lifestyle-related. Sometimes the retreats are on a Saturday at the church or somewhere local, and others are overnight and out of town. There are also women's discipleship studies several times per year, often beginning in a new season.

Personal Growth

LUNCH & LEARN | Each month we share lunch together and learn different skills, including how to write your autobiography, blog, interpret dreams, work technology such as iPads and iPhones, use social media, live a healthy life, and more.

BOOK CHATS | Read and discuss a new book each month with friends! Book Chats are facilitated by Nancy Beauvais and open to all.  4th Thursday of the month from 5:30 pm in the Parlor.

Fellowship

THE MOM GROUP | Find your village... Wednesdays, 9 - 11 AM in the Parlor, across from the Sanctuary. Led by Kelie Taylor, ktaylor1312@yahoo.com. Child Care is provided.
