As many may know, I was a first grade teacher once upon a time. The month of May marked for me the beginning of summer vacation, as it still does for our teachers in Shreveport. Grades are in and it is time for our educators to take a well-deserved break!
As the summer begins, I wanted to take a moment to congratulate all our teachers for completing another year of hard work! Thank you, for teaching and loving your students on their best days and worst. May your summer be one of rest and relaxation, so that you’ll be ready, when the time comes, to welcome new friends into your heart and classroom and to do it all over again.
